MJN Air would like to apologise for the late arrival of Series Three of Cabin Pressure. However, we have now loaded all the baggage; taken delivery of a fresh supply of lemon-scented paper napkins; retrieved the steward from the baggage carousel he'd got his tie caught in; and are ready to depart from the Drill Hall, London, on the 11th and 13th of April. Tickets are available here:
Our estimated time of arrival to BBC Radio Four is 11:30, July 1st.
We wish you a pleasant and comfortable radio show. We will now go back to finishing writing it.

Great news!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could be there! NOW do I seriously regret not living in London (or even in Great Britain). *sigh*
ReplyDeleteGood luck for everybody!
I was so looking forward to going to the Cabin Pressure recording by plane. Unfortunately, I don't have any time at all in the first half of April.
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait!
ReplyDeleteBong Bing
Oh, gutted I can't make it to a recording - but so pleased to hear series three is heading our way soon! :D
ReplyDeleteOne question though - those recordings look like there's only going to be five episodes . . .? Are we being deprived of an extra half hour? Because the two episode sixes have been my favoutites. :p
I'm pretty excited about this.
ReplyDeleteHooray! It's times like this that I'm happy I'm likely to live long enough!
ReplyDeletei really really really wish i could go to this. sometimes i loathe living in california. i can't wait for series three. I think i have series one and two practically memorized.
ReplyDeleteYay!! Happy days!
ReplyDeleteIt would have been nice to see CP in the 6:30 slot, but you can't have everything.
ReplyDeleteBest news of 2011! I don't even care if it's only March.
ReplyDeleteAlready applied for tickets, hooray!!! Applied for this and Olympic tennis all in the same week; it will be interesting to see which, if any, of them come through.
ReplyDeleteTo quote the ever-eloquent Arthur: Brilliant!
Just applied for tickets, really hope I get some!! And even if I don't - bring on July!! Looking forward to this so much :)
ReplyDeleteOmigosh!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be there for the recordings... But it's less than possible for me to get there from Gdansk at this time, so I keeping my fingers crossed from a far away land of dumplings and grumpy people!
Really wish I could be there, but am on the wrong side of the Pond. I listen to series 1 & 2 almost all the time, so I'll really be looking forward to series 3!
ReplyDelete(Hope this is appropriate - as one of my friend's says: "Break legs & be brilliant!" Hmm... I wonder if he ever met Arthur?)
Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHave already applied and keeping fingers crossed.
Series 1 & 2 are on a loop on my iPod - when can we buy the Christmas Special in any format? I only have vague memories of 'Get dressed you merry Gentlemen... ... for it is Chri-i-i-i-i-i-istmas Day'....
Oh, to live in London. I would be there in a heartbeat!
ReplyDeleteYour writing is amazing, John!

ReplyDeleteI cannot wait! Any news as to when it will be aired?
ReplyDeleteI got tickets - yay!! - do you have any idea roughly how long the recording will take?
ReplyDeleteI got tickets yay see you on the monday
ReplyDeleteYay I got tickets, see u there. X
ReplyDeleteHmmm, still no word about tickets. I guess that means I didn't get them. How sad! Maybe if I stand outside during the whole of the recording I will be able to feel some of the amazingness that is Cabin Pressure through the walls!
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! Quite the most perfect comedy, beautifully written, acted and produced. Quite exceptional and deserves to be one of the all time great comedies.
ReplyDeleteI have been meaning to write and say for a while, but Cabin Pressure is f*cking brilliant.
ReplyDeleteIs that a Hitchiker's reference? The lemon-soaked paper napkins bit, I mean? Is there someone out there who can actually quote Hitchiker's Guide to that level of obscurity? Cos if so, wahey!
ReplyDeleteI loved Series 3, by the way - anymore coming in the foreseeable future?
