Times when apostrophe contractions, though normally so useful, are probably best avoided.

  • I think, therefore I'm.
  • Unforgettable, that's what you're.
  • I'm what I'm, and what I'm needs no excuses.
  • 'Will you love her, comfort her, honour and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others keep thee only unto her so long as you both shall live?' 'I'll.'

Caution: I am not a professional.

      Commandment:
I'm the Lord thy God and you'll not have other gods before me.

    3. We're in Gershwin territory here- it's always been a favourite lyric of mine.

"I'm biding my time/ Cos that's the kind of guy I'm"

    4. Colloquialism complicates the issue, as in "I ain't an animal" or "I ain't a number - I'm a free man!"

Not forgetting (even though everyone else has) 80s/90s pop group Wasn't Was.
