Nothing to do with Mr Cushing but wanted to share with other Finnefans my joy in discovering that Mick Herron's Slow Horses play Yellow Car. One of the books also features Talisker.
Also nothing to do with Mr Cushing, but I wanted to let you know that I shan't be taking advantage of the substack discount. Not because I didn't want to, but the bank won't let me. Substack gets flagged as fraudulent by them. I can't say I fully understood the explanation, but it's something to do with several different types of currency involved and apparently not necessarily in their respective countries. In any case, I'm now being sent a new bank card as they absolutely refuse to reopen this one. Danish readers can't subscribe and probably shouldn't try as this is very inconvenient indeed.
