Quasimodo

Originally, I played Quasimodo and Simon played Victor. I don't know why it worked so much better this way round, but it really did.

#inktober. I like that you have some environment this time, and of course it makes sense to include it even if your intention is to only sketch the characters. It does seem a little sooty if I can offer some advice--maybe next time you can use another color for the linework, or (depending on what program you're using) you could recolor the lines later?

Oooooooh, rendering!

Did you know Victor Hugo was also an artist? A darn good one, too! Some people.

John, any chance you could render your three knights sketch and your last biscuit in the common room sketch as, well, sketches? They are perfectly pitched for those of us in who work in the absurdist mathematics tradition. A small community, but devoted to your work. Thank you, G

Excellent, one of my all time favourites, thanks for posting it here.

(any chance of the correspondence between a certain Edmund Jekyll (Dr.) and his altar ego appearing too?)

All the best.

Alright if we’re all pitching now: Princess and Fairy, pleeease!

When Simon say "I have a name, a really memorable name!" it sounds like he trying so hard not to laugh. Was something happening to push him over the edge during recording?

So who’s the guy in the jumper holding a book who jumps in for a millisecond? Or have I really been working too hard...?

The first time I listened to this, in my head I was thinking "But it was really called 'Notre Dame de Paris.'" And then it was in the skit, and I was so happy. :)

Well, Simon is really good at doing "angry and exasperated". He plays that role in the self-indulgent meta-sketch, for the not-racist-grandpa sketch, for the nobody-could-do-it sketch... It's no wonder he did such a good job with "Quasimodo goes ballistic".

Of course, Paul is correct - Simon is corpsing for about four or five lines, which I personally find makes the sketch ten times funnier.
