Lines from Bob Marley songs that were written for him by a middle-class Englishwoman.

  • Don’t you worry about a thing
  • There is one question I’d really love to ask
  • Stand up for your rights!
  • I hope this jam is going to last...

I'd never heard of you until Pick of the Week tonight - Roger Wattis - I could listen to him for hours. Magic! Please get him his own show on Radio 4 NOW!

John - Love your work on Radio 4. I too am a Finnemore - maybe we are related? Either way, can I have some money?

Thank you all!

Anonymous - your wish is my command. Tune in at 11pm on Monday 5th May for more sturdy nuggets of common sense.

Dr Toast - Sadly, I think you may be over-estimating just how much you get paid for one minute on Radio Four. But we could always get together to murder rich old Unlcle Ebeneezer Finnemore, and split the Finnemore millions between us?

I'm also a Finnemore! I'm a Sri Lankan Finnemore, and I'm a big fan of the work of my English distant relative, the talented John Finnemore. Long live the Finnemores! All of us!

But who among you is the finnemost?

How did tonight go, John? You performed, yes?

Oh well, back to the day job then. Commissioning shows for Radio 4 is just such hard work...

Didn't know there were Finnemores in Sri Lanka - Canada was the furthest afield I have so far found. Long live the 'good lovers'!
