I have been asked by someone who doesn't know what they're letting themselves in for if I have any more pictures of elephants. Oh yes. That I do. Look, here come some now. Click for bigger, and watch out for elephants masquerading as baby turtles. They're devilish cunning, these elephants.

Spectacular! Thank you for posting these.
Quite lucky of you to see these animals so intimately.
That third one makes me wonder: Do elephants mind using a zebra crossing?
I've always considered it ironic that one of the least safe places for a zebra to cross a road would be via a zebra crossing.
Oh, and one more thing...["this had better not be about your book" - reader's voice]... er, nothing.
"Pachyderm Pressure"
No. Don't.
I see turtles and elephants.
Where are the discs?
Sorry Len - no discs. It's turtles all the way down, and elephants all the way up...
Those pics are amazing!
Elephants are so cool. I really enjoyed this pictures! :)
The one with the river is my favorite. Looking down from a plane and seeing that would be incredibly awesome.
