Funny how one thing leads to another. The monsters came from the buffalo, but then I had such fun drawing the big guy at the back that I spent an hour today doodling thugs and villains. This one's my favourite.
...but he's ever so good to his dear old Mum. |

Looks like a member of the EU summit, on being introduced to our David
I have no words for this one. Was he on the tube or did you draw him from memory?
Scarily, he looks a bit like someone I know o_O I'm glad this is an online advent calendar because if I saw HIM peeking through my window I'd be terrified!
I feel like I just got mugged by looking at this.
I'd like to see the tattoo to Mom on his bicep.
Is the title of your blog a reference to 'What Katy Did', by any chance?
When a felon's not engaged in his employment
Or maturing his felonious little plans
His capacity for innocent enjoyment
Is quite as great as any honest man's!

Looks like Alexey Sayle...
I always thought the blog title was from the "Jennings and Derbyshire" series of books-school stories written in the 50s and 60s by Anthony Buckeridge. I read them as a kid and remember in one Jennings attempts to keep a diary; he makes entries for a few days then leaves it for a while. When he sits down to write it up he can't remember what he's done in the past week so it runs: Monday 1st-Forget what did
Tuesday 2nd-Forget what did Wednesday 3rd Forget what did and so on.
Just my theory.
I assumed 'Forget what did' was referring to the Phillip Larkin Poem.
Anoymous is right - it's a reference to the Larkin poem. In which he has much the same trouble with diary-keeping as Jennings!
Coldhands, I thought the same thing precisely! Looks just like him from back in the "Stuff" days.
Sure, he is... And he has a soft spot for kittens as well!
Some characters in 'Katy' stole a boy's diary and almost every entry was 'Forget what did'.
