Minced baby is actually very difficult to keep on a skewer I would think...
Sunday papers, yay! It would appear we share this rarest of conditions - Football Blindness. Who knew! :D
Oh, and also, as a vegetarian, I demand further investigation of this mysterious dish.
Oh I have that minced baby recipe in a cook book by Jonathan Swift... Not bad... Not that I've tried it.

The "baby lamb" specification makes me wonder what sort of chicken the chicken is.
Yay for a new Sunday Papers! I love these days; when you notice how last month ran past with a wave and a shout and you are left with a period of time that is as mysterious as a dish labelled as containing "vegetarian."
At least one might suspect that the dish, however mysterious, is actually vegetarian. A couple of years ago a small-town restaurant in Poland was made famous by its vegetarian soup prepared with the use of bone broth. Because vegetarians don't eat meat, duh.
There's a cafe by mine that regularly sells "beef mush stroganoff" and "Spring V Soup". Still can't work out if it's a lesser successful cousin to Alphabetty Spaghetti or an early homage to the outdoor festival.
And the less I think about the mush, the better.
As a New Zealander (and, as we all know, all New Zealanders are well versed in sheep), I can definitively say that "baby lamb" is rather redundant.
I hope it was purposeful, just for that particular line.
