ALT TEXT: A drawing of a cheerful white bear. They seem more trustworthy than Thursday's bear, but maybe that's just because they have their eyes closed. Long claws, though. Too long for comfort.

Wonderful!.. However. Tiny thing. And I know nothing about this sort of thing- I mean, my medium is vegetables for heaven's sake- but it looks like you drew your lovely bear in white chalk. And now I can't stop imagining scraping those extremely long black claws across a blackboard. As I said, tiny thing. It's wonderful. Did I say that already? I did. Oh, good.
Your cheerful "White Bear' does not fool me. I've seen Black Mirror. Thanks, as always, for your alt texts. Maybe they help to keep you on schedule with the 24 things.
The puzzle is to arrange 100 unbound pages into the correct order to identify the victims (and presumably the perpetrator) of six murders.
"Two people solved the puzzle shortly after the novel’s publication, winning £25 each. When a copy of The Torquemada Puzzle Book was presented to the Laurence Sterne Trust, Shandy Hall curator Patrick Wildgust set out to solve it. Once he’d done so, Unbound reissued the title in 2019 with a £1,000 prize to anyone who could solve it within a year; the only person to do so was John Finnemore, a British comedy writer and the creator of BBC Radio 4’s Cabin Pressure."
I am the man in this photograph of me. Writer, comedian and actor. I wrote Cabin Pressure, and now write John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme, and Double Acts.

Trying to lure us into a false sense of security with that Buddha-like serene sleepy smile ... should have hidden the murder weapons, though!

Bear polar!
I hope there will be a polar elephant later. For balance.
Ha! Yes! Oh, and carrying a long pole. Horizontally. In their trunk. On a tightrope. For more balance.
Elephant Polailephant!

OLÉLEPHANT! Shush Pedro! Stop shouting at Simon. It's getting embarrassing.
See The Guardian for a reference to Mr Finnemore at the end of:
